Carrybee Courier Review 2026: Charges, Delivery Speed, and Should You Try It?

Published on 2026-07-305 min read

Every courier post we publish brings the same follow-up question: what about Carrybee? The query data agrees, so here is a proper look: what Carrybee is, what it claims, what we could not verify, and how to test it sensibly. This closes out our charge series on Steadfast, Pathao, and RedX.

Honesty first: Carrybee publishes less pricing detail than any of the big three, and their site was not reachable for a rate check when we wrote this (July 2026). Everything below is their published claims plus what sellers report. Confirm every number directly before moving volume.

What Carrybee Is

Carrybee is a concern of US-Bangla Airlines, and that is also its pitch: it uses airline cargo for mid-mile transport, so parcels to far districts skip the long road leg. For sellers whose customers complain about 3-day waits outside Dhaka, that is the headline.

The published claims:

  • Same-day delivery inside Dhaka.
  • Delivery within 72 hours outside Dhaka, helped by the air leg.
  • No return charge inside Dhaka, with competitive return charges outside.
  • A dedicated KAM (key account manager) for every merchant, something the big couriers usually reserve for high-volume accounts.
  • Payouts on a regular cycle once your invoice is generated, reportedly without weekend delays.

The Interesting Number: No Return Charge Inside Dhaka

Failed COD deliveries are the biggest hidden cost in Bangladeshi ecommerce: you pay the delivery out, often a return charge back, and your stock sits in transit for a week. Steadfast charges for returns, and Pathao adds 50% of the delivery charge outside Dhaka.

So "no return charge inside Dhaka" is genuinely worth attention if your Dhaka failure rate is meaningful. Quick math: 30 failed Dhaka deliveries a month at roughly ৳55 to ৳105 each in sunk courier cost is ৳1,650 to ৳3,150 of pain; a courier that at least does not add a return fee on top softens it. But remember the better fix is fewer failed deliveries, not cheaper failures: how to stop fake COD orders.

Pricing: What to Ask Before You Sign

Carrybee quotes rates case by case, so walk in with a checklist. Get these in writing:

  1. Delivery charge by zone and weight: same-city, suburb, district, and what each extra kg costs.
  2. COD percentage: flat everywhere, or lower inside Dhaka like Pathao (0.5%) and RedX (0%)?
  3. Return charge outside Dhaka: "competitive" is a word, not a number.
  4. Payout cycle: exact days, and whether weekends really do not delay it.
  5. Coverage in your actual delivery areas: airline mid-mile does not help if the last mile does not reach your customer's upazila.

Compare the quote against the published cards: Steadfast (flat ৳55 to ৳135 routes, 1% COD), Pathao (৳60 to ৳180 by weight, 0.5%/1% COD), and RedX (panel rates, 0% COD inside Dhaka City).

How to Test a New Courier Without Getting Burned

Carrybee is newer, and new networks have uneven areas. The sensible test:

  1. Pick one delivery zone where you already know your numbers (success rate, delivery time) with your current courier.
  2. Route 20 to 30 orders through Carrybee in that zone.
  3. Measure: delivered-on-time rate, failed-delivery rate, actual payout dates, and how the KAM responds when a parcel goes sideways.
  4. Only then decide how much volume it earns.

A dedicated KAM is worth something real: when a parcel is stuck, "I message a human who knows my account" beats a ticket queue. Test that too: raise a small issue during your trial and watch the clock.

Verdict: Who Should Try Carrybee

  • Sellers with high Dhaka return rates: the no-return-charge policy directly targets your biggest leak.
  • Sellers with far-district customers who care about speed: the airline mid-mile claim is exactly for you; verify it in your districts.
  • Sellers who want hands-on support: a KAM for every merchant is unusual at small volume.
  • Not yet for: anyone who needs published, predictable rates to plan pricing, or whose whole business runs through one courier. Keep your primary courier and let Carrybee earn a share.

Run a Multi-Courier Setup Without the Plumbing

The smartest sellers don't marry one courier, and that is how Banikh is built: Steadfast, Pathao, and RedX are built in, with one-click booking from the order dashboard, automatic tracking updates, and a smart courier suggestion per order based on destination. Testing a newer player like Carrybee alongside is easy when the rest of your courier operation runs itself.

And checkout includes phone-OTP verification, so fake COD orders get filtered before any courier, new or old, ever sees them.

Banikh never holds your COD money. It goes from the courier straight to you, and Banikh's only charge is a small flat per-order fee (free during launch).

The Bottom Line

Carrybee brings a real differentiator (airline cargo mid-mile, no return charge inside Dhaka, a KAM for everyone) and real question marks (no public rate card, a young network). Treat it as a challenger worth a 20-order test in your best-known zone, not a wholesale switch. Get every number in writing, measure against your current courier, and let the data decide.
