Refund Policy

Scope
Banikh does not charge subscriptions. Banikh's own fees are just two things: (a) a small per-order fee on orders placed through your store, and (b) optional prepaid wallet top-ups for bulk marketing (SMS and email campaigns). This Refund Policy covers refunds of those Banikh fees only. It does not cover refunds between you and your customers for products bought on your storefront. Once we're VAT-registered, Banikh issues proper invoices for these fees; until then, keep your dashboard's transaction export as your own record. See "Customer Refunds on Merchant Stores" below.
Launch promotion
During our launch the per-order fee is free (৳0). There's no trial clock and no time limit, your free period stays free, with no back-charges, ever. Before any fee ever starts, we'll give you weeks of notice by email and in your dashboard, so nothing is ever a surprise.
Per-order fee
There's no monthly bill. You only pay when you sell. When the fee is live it's a small flat percentage of each order's value (currently 1.5%, minimum ৳5), shown clearly in your dashboard. Your first orders are always free as a one-time new-store allowance.
Canceled & returned orders
If an order is canceled or returned, including courier returns and RTO, 50% of that order's fee is credited back to your Banikh wallet as non-expiring credit toward future fees. We keep the other half to cover the SMS, email, and processing already spent on that order.
Marketing wallet top-ups
Top-ups you buy for bulk SMS and email marketing never expire. Any unused balance is refundable on request, just email [email protected], because we treat it as your money until it's spent. Transactional messages (order confirmations, OTP, delivery updates) are included in the per-order fee and are never charged to your wallet.
If a fee can't be collected
When the per-order fee is live and your wallet can't cover it, the unpaid amount is simply owed; new orders may be paused until you top up. Your store and all your data stay safe, nothing is deleted. Top up any time to clear the balance and resume.
Customer Refunds on Merchant Stores
Refunds for purchases made on a merchant's storefront are not handled by Banikh. Banikh is a platform provider, not the merchant of record for those transactions. Customers should contact the merchant directly. Where a card or wallet was used, the customer's chargeback rights with their bank or payment provider continue to apply.
Chargebacks
If a customer initiates a chargeback against your store, any chargeback fees passed on by the payment gateway are your responsibility. Repeated chargebacks may trigger an account review and may result in suspension.
